What Is The Jacket Award?
The North Ridgeville Baseball League, Inc. recognizes an outstanding volunteer each year by bestowing "The Jacket Award." It takes an army of volunteers each season to make the league a success and the league wishes to honor those who go above and beyond in making that a reality.
2025 Jacket Award Nominations
Nominations for the 2025 Jacket Award are now being accepted! Please take a minute to nominate a deserving person or persons to receive our most prestigious award, The Jacket Award. All nominees will be recognized and the winner will be chosen by an independent panel. Please give a bit of your time to recognize someone that went above and beyond this past year to make the North Ridgeville Baseball League what it is today!
Winners will receive a commemorative jacket as well as have their name forever emblazoned on the plaque.

Kevin Greiner
2024 Winner - Kevin Greiner
Kevin has taken on more responsibility this year. He did a great job transitioning to Tournament Director and running the Cornfest Tourney. Those are big shoes to fill and with the guidance of previous owner, I feel he did a great job.
He is also the guy you can count on for last minute coverage, maintenance, field crew and umpiring... unless it's past 8pm. He finds his beauty rest more important. I look forward to working with Kevin next year as VP of Palmer Field. Congrats Kevin.
Kevin really stepped up this season and strongly contributed to every aspect of the NRBL. He stepped up as Corn Fest Tournament Director and did a phenomenal job. He was always around to help with the fields and also found time to umpire a good number games. His selfless volunteerism embodies every aspect of what The Jacket is meant to reward.
